Rachel learned to read music growing up by paying her trumpet. She studied voice at The University of Texas at San Antonio and competed in several competitions during that time. In 2013, she was the winner of Our Part of Town San Antonio competition. She has performed at both Sixflags and SeaWorld San Antonio. If you are a native of San Antonio, you may have seen her perform at the Woodlawn Theatre. Some of her favorite performances at the Woodlawn included playing Nina in " In the Heights" and Rapunzel in "Into The Woods." She has also worked with Opera San Antonio and performed in Carmen at the Tobin Center in 2016. You can catch her singing and playing jazz with The River city big band at Blue Star the second Tuesday of every month. And of course rocking out to the music with her primary group, The Guilty Pleasures.
